The Criterion Collection
It was both an honor and a momentous task to design the cover for Criterion Collection's release of "the greatest movie of all time", Citizen Kane. Originally asked to create a collage cover for the disc set, the brief quickly changed and the final cover design focused on the "K" that appears throughout the film as a symbol of wealth, class and ego. The cover design caused quite a debate online among the general public which, to us, felt appropriate seeing as the original release of the movie in 1941 was considered controversial and was met with dueling responses as well.
