Ceramic Artist Branding & Design

Jess Cullen is a Richmond, VA–based ceramic artist creating colorful, geometric pieces that combine intertwining shapes and unexpected forms. For her brand identity, the goal was to create a visual language that felt distinctive and considered while allowing the artwork to remain the focus.

We developed a simple geometric logo inspired by the forms found throughout Jess’s work, then paired it with a tactile palette of colors and materials reminiscent of raw clay and the hands-on process of making. The identity was designed to feel warm, artful, and understated, creating a flexible foundation that could complement everything from studio materials and packaging to her website and portfolio.

The result is a cohesive brand identity that supports Jess’s practice without competing with the work itself.
